The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) announced earlier this week that it will issue an automatic two-month extension of the upcoming Affordable Care Act (ACA) 1094/1095 reporting deadlines. IRS Notice 2016-4 provided that the extension is being allowed because employers, insurers and other providers needed “additional time to adapt and implement systems to gather, analyze and report this information.”
